NATIONAL NAPALM SYNDICATE: New Album Update

August 25, 2007

Finnish thrash metallers NATIONAL NAPALM SYNDICATE have issued the following update:

"OK, there's a lot of stuff happening right now with NATIONAL NAPALM SYNDICATE. We live in the studio. We really do, it's 24/7 (OK, I'll admit we have to take a one-hour break now and then). We are still produced by our own Jeesus Jokikokko (Jeesus did our last album, 'The Resurrection of the Wicked'). The only change is that our bass master Tero has taken the over recording engineering job.

"We have 11 new NATIONAL NAPALM SYNDICATE originals on tape plus four cover songs and we are still recording! We're gonna put on tape two fave cover songs from each member of the band and after that we will fight until death about which ones will see the light of day (that'll be 10 covers... the fight will be brutal...).

"OK, at the moment we have mine (Jukka) and Tero's suggestions on tape and we'll continue with Make's. So next week we'll have 10 covers and the 11 originals to mix.

"I can promise you, it's faster, it's heavier, it's a bit different, but it will be NATIONAL NAPALM SYNDICATE."

NATIONAL NAPALM SYNDICATE earlier in the year released a new collection, "The Birth, Death and Resurrection", through EMI/Capitol Records. The set is a two-CD re-release of the band's debut EMI LP, "National Napalm Syndicate", from 1989 with two bonus tracks, and the group's 2006 comeback album, "Resurrection of the Wicked", with four bonus tracks.

NATIONAL NAPALM SYNDICATE's video for the song "Determination" (2006) can be viewed below.
